Protecting privacy is important and required by law. This Privacy Policy outlines the policies for the collection, use or disclosure of information in connection with the App. All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy are defined in the POISE-3 App Terms and Conditions.
When you download the App you will be required to input a code or password. You confirm that you are authorized to have and to use the password, that you are one of the Study Personnel (as defined in the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to), and that you are over the age of 18.
In using the App, you may input or generate User Content. User Content will be temporarily stored on the App and will be automatically deleted when you exit the App or manually clear the form. No Study participant identifying information is collected, and no User Content or User personal information is stored, on the App. The App includes a function where Users may generate an email and manually send an email with User Content. In the event a User emails a generated plan, the App will ask for a Study identifier. It is each User’s responsibility to input a Study related non-identifier code, such as for example: 0001, 0002 etc., and to send emails in accordance with the privacy policies of your Institution. All obligations of privacy and compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations are and shall remain the User’s responsibility at all times including while using, and sending emails communications from, the App.
We do not track information on the App or obtain use data via cookies. App crash reports are sent to us via log with the following data: time of crash, device type and iOS version, and details of the location where the crash occurred. App crash reports are used solely for identifying and removing “bugs” from the App. The crash report function may be turned off at any time, in your discretion.
It is your complete responsibility to keep your password secure and not share that information with any other person. You are also responsible for keeping your devices secure, to prevent unauthorized use and access of any passwords.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes to the Privacy Policy will be communicated to you via an alert message upon first logging into the App, after the update. It is your responsibility to review the updated Privacy Policy. You understand and agree that your continued use of the App constitutes your agreement to the changes.
