This app is only for use by study personnel who have been delegated by the POISE 3 Trial Management.

Easily generate participant specific medication plans for the POISE-3 Trial.

To unlock the app, a username and password are required. They can be gained from the POISE 3 Trial management.

Patient privacy is protected. No patient data or app usage data is stored or sent (unless you email yourself a plan with a non-identifying label).

Information about the trial

For the ‘hypotension avoidance strategy’ of the trial, research staff can enter the patient’s medications (generic or trade names). The app has a library of 379 medications. Press ‘Plan’ and a plan with simple instructions is developed.

Both generic and trade names are recognised. Combinations are also processed.

Trial inclusion/exclusion criteria are included for the tranexamic acid arm and the BP management arm.

iPad’s extra screen realestate is utilised via a split screen.
